Heat-treated EN reaches 48–50 HRC — suitable for tooling, shafts, and wear surfaces.

Copper or bright nickel underplates for multi-layer systems per your spec or industry standard.

Electroless vs electrolytic nickel?
Electroless deposits uniformly in holes and on complex shapes. Electrolytic nickel is economical for decorative bright finishes on visible exterior surfaces.
Does plating affect tolerances?
Yes — specify plating thickness and we machine undersize accordingly. EN is predictable and often ±10% of nominal thickness.
Can you plate internal threads?
Electroless nickel plates threads uniformly. We still recommend masking if class-fit threads must be preserved.
